I'm off...

IT"S FINALLY COME!!! I'm waiting/about to board my flight to the Dominican Republic!! I'm so excited and nervous, I don't know what to do with myself. I'm sitting here sipping on my last strawberry frap that I'm sure I wont have again for the next 2 months just looking around at the different people walking past me. It's already quite the change from Arizona!! I know it's only Miami but the culture, the language, the constant hand gestures and varying Spanish dialects are much different then what I'm used to! Lol..I'm not in Kansas anymore ;) ha ha ha...Can't wait to get on the island. All this anticipation is killing me! (I'm raising my Starbucks cup up in the air) Cheers! Here's to a new life, a new adventure and a mission to spread the good word/show the love of Christ! God bless you ALL family and friends! LOVE YOU ALL!!!!! And I shall miss you dearly! I'm off...

Mission Trip #1

Soooo..today marks: 10 days 'til lift off!!!!

I will be leaving on my very first mission trip ever!! 10 days from today I will be flying on a jet plane to an island in the Caribbean known as the Dominican Republic (well one side of it anyways) and I do hope to jump across to the other side which is Haiti...Woot woot! Pray for me! I'm gonna need it!
